Assalamualaikum Dear BHA families,

The BHA Student Council is back with another activity for everyone to benefit from.

“(It is) the month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed as a guidance for mankind, clear proofs giving guidance, and the Criterion (for distinguishing right and wrong). So whoever of you witnesses this month, let him fast it.” [Al-Baqarah, Ayah 185]

The month of Ramadan is the time for us to come close to Allah. To please Him, we should obey Him to the fullest. Fast, read the Quran, make dua’, and perform good deeds.

Insha’Allah we are organizing a Quran Elocution Contest. We will be looking for good tarteel and tajweed. However, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have good pronunciation! We encourage you all to participate and what matters most is that you try your best!

Please register by 04/11/2022 using the form below:

The first round will take place on April 17th.

The assignments for the first round are as follows:

TK-KG: Surah Al-Kahf [Ayat 1-5]
1st-2nd: Surah Al-Kahf [Ayat 1-12]
3rd-4th: Surah Al-Muminoon [Ayat 1-42]
5th-6th: Surah Al-Muminoon [Ayat 1-74]
7th-8th: Surah Ibrahim [Ayat 1-52]

Each and every one of you will receive a prize for participating, insha’Allah because you are all winners. The top three winners will be selected from each age group.

We hope to see you all there. Ramadan Mubarak!

“Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists).”

Please watch out for a video made by Student Council students for more information.

Kind Regards,
Student Council Members
