In light of the horrendous events that have been taking place across the country, BHA is actively taking necessary measures to ensure the safety of our students and our community at large. As many of you know, we have installed many safety features to our campuses including heightened fencing, bulletproof glass, and intercom systems. We also have a vigilant security team that communicates all suspicious activity and responds accordingly. At CC campus, we are currently installing an individual camera and locking system (similar to Ring) for each classroom, and we have two-way radios to ensure a channel of communication is always available in case of emergencies.
BHA staff members continue to meet and review emergency safety protocols to be practiced by the students, so all parties are reminded of the procedures for various situations (fire drill/ earthquake drill/ lockdown). The safety of our students is of utmost importance and we take the matter very seriously. Our hearts go out to those families who are affected by the recent tragedies, and we pray our community remains safe during these unsettling times. May Allah protect us from any forms of harm, and continue safeguarding our community. Ameen.
