ISSD PTO 2017-18 Message

Dear Parents,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuhu,

The ISSD Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to welcome new and returning families to the 2017-18 school year by inviting you to our first meeting on Monday, September 18th at 2:00pm in the Multipurpose Room.

ISSD PTO is a volunteer organization comprised of parents, teachers and support staff, who are dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for our children.

We have been successful through support from parents, who volunteer their invaluable time and efforts to help create an enriched learning environment. Students have been able to enjoy PTO’s sponsored activities and events, including Citizenship Days, Eid Carnival, School Picnics, International Food Fair, Sports Day, Ramadan Celebration,Science Field Day, after school activities and so on because of volunteer’s help. This support, in collaboration with the teachers and school administrators, is what makes our school prosper!

We encourage all parents to join the PTO by attending our monthly meetings and use it as an occasion to share and discuss your vision and ideas for our school and students. The first meeting will lay out the PTO’s goals and future plans for this school year and will provide information on opportunities for how parents can assist in this journey.
