Assalamu Alaykum Parents,
Subhanalllah we all woke up this morning to the tragic news of passing of our dear Sr Monica’s son Assadullah and have spent the day reflecting and praying for them. Its must be difficult enough to deal with such a tragedy but the family now also has to consider all the additional complexities posed by the pandemic. Many of the parents and community members have been inquiring about the janaza and possible arrangements for azza. Family is working on finalizing the funeral arrangements and due to the circumstances the janaza will have to be limited to the family only. As for the azza, insha Allah, we will inform you as soon as something is arranged.
Sr Moinica has been very much moved by the outpouring of love and support and it is important now that we give the family some privacy to mourn this significant loss in peace. The most important and powerful thing for us all to do now is to make dua for Assadullah, Sr Monica, and the family. May Allah SWT shower His mercy on Assadullah and bless the family with patience during this difficult time.
