Assalamo Alaykum Parents,
I hope you are all doing well by the grace of Allah SWT. I wanted to reach out to you and share some great news with you. Alhumdulillah, by the grace and blessings of Allah, we received official communication from WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) this past week that our TK program and 9th grade are now fully accredited. This is a significant milestone for our community– that now, for the first time in the San Diego area, we have a full time accredited Islamic high school, Bright Horizon Academy.
This approval takes our high school program to the next level, insha Allah, and gives us an accredited program all the way from TK through high school. We are motivated and committed by the help of Allah SWT to offer a solid program starting for our youngest students and going throughout high school. Insha Allah, BHA will prepare the students well for college and for a successful future beyond.
BHA would not have reached this milestone without the collective vision and effort of our community and together we will, insha Allah, develop a model Islamic school which will, insha Allah, successfully produce leaders for our coming generations.
