Assalamu Alaikum, the NHS team have been working on a Financial Literacy Workshop.
This will be a Zoom session, with Br. Abdullah Tahiri and Br. Nurideen El Alam giving the talk. It will be on April 9th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. We will send you the link to the Zoom meeting on the day of the workshop.

We were only able to send this email to a limited number of people, so if you have any friends or family who can benefit from this we encourage you to let them know. This is however, only for High Schoolers, and up.
Some of the topics you will hear about are:
1- Budgeting & Money Managing
2- High Schoolers starting Businesses & Internships
There will also be interactive activities for you to participate in, which will include a worksheet on budgeting.
We have also attached a pdf with some information on finance. It will give you some good background on the topics to be discussed, it will be nice if you can find some time to read it so you have some knowledge on the topics already. The Worksheet for budgeting is also attached.
