Eid Mubarak May all students and families have a blessed Eid vacation next week. School will resume on Monday, June 10, with an Eid Celebration Day.
Last Week Schedule, June 10 – 14 Monday – normal school hours, 8:00 – 3:15. Sahaba Day and archery activities; pizza lunch provided. Thank you to almost all students who brought in the permission slip and $15 to cover the activities on time!
Tuesday – students will be transported to the Clairemont campus for Duhr prayer, followed by the Arabic program, then awards ceremony for Allied Gardens. Families are invited.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – dismissal at 12:00. Friday is for students who wish to be useful helping in classrooms and around the campus in cleaning up before summer break.
Last Week Non-Uniform Days First Monday of the Month–theme for this day is to match the Sahaba/Sahabiyat Day while following our modest dress clothing. Dress as you feel the companions of the Prophet dressed during this time.
Tuesday— follow the color codes for the Arabic Day program. Wednesday/Thursday--relaxed modest dress code. Friday--come ready to clean! Reminder–Be sure to respect these non-uniform opportunities; no tight or inappropriate clothing.
Student Newsletter Another 6th grader interviewed our school grounds caretaker, Mr. Pete Calloway, to learn about his job and how he likes working in an Islamic school. Please see his story attached.
