Visiting the School

Visitors
Parents are welcome to visit the school and classroom for 30 minutes with a visitor’s pass from the office.
An appointment to visit can be made but is not required. (However, longer visits must be arranged in advance with the Principal and teacher.)
Teachers have been requested not to let visitors into their class without an office pass.
Visitors are asked to observe the following guidelines when visiting classes:

  • Do not interrupt the class or lesson.
  • Parents who wish to discuss any matter with the teacher must request an appointment in the office.
  • Lunches, eye glasses, or other items should be left in the office, clearly labeled with the student’s name.
  • Do not bring small children with you during a classroom visit.

Visitor Passes

Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit the school and classroom with a visitor’s pass from the office. Although an appointment to visit can be made, it is not required for their visit. Teachers are requested not to let visitors into their class without a pass from the office. Visitors are requested to come alone with no children and silently observe classes without interfering with teachers’ work or students’ learning. Visits are limited to only 30 minutes at a time unless previously arranged with the teacher and Principal. No conferences may be scheduled during class time.
