Admission Process 2020-2021

NEW STUDENT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Complete and return Application Form.
2. Pay $100.00 Application Fee.
3. Copy of the applicant’s birth certificate for age verification and immunization record. Students are required to have up-to-date
immunizations before they attend class.
4. Wait for notification that your child has been ACCEPTED FOR ADMISSION.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT : Student must be four years old on or before November 1st of the current academic year in
order to be considered for admission. Acceptance will be given priority based on the following criteria:
1) Child of BHA staff member
2) Child has sibling currently registered at BHA
Please Note:
All new students are on probation for the first 30 days of school. Students under age 4 who do not meet our cut off date are not
eligible for Transitional Kindergarten.

REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

1. TK students pay Resource Fee of $150.00 for Part Time or $250.00 for Full Time.
2. Complete the registration and financial agreement forms.

PLEASE NOTE: RESOURCE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND MUST BE PAID WITHIN THE NEXT 5 BUSINESS
DAYS OF THE ACCEPTANCE NOTICE FROM THE SCHOOL IN ORDER TO RESERVE THEIR SEAT.
Please Note: The Resource Fee covers textbooks, standardized testing and other instructional materials.

2. Attach a copy of the applicant’s current and previous year’s report card along with disciplinary record for Middle and High School
(not required for Kindergarten).
3. Pay $50.00 Application Fee.
4. Pay $50.00 Testing Fee.
5. Copy of the applicant’s birth certificate for age verification and immunization record. Students are required to have up-to-date
immunizations before they attend class.
6. An admissions test will be scheduled for the applicant after requirements 1-4 above have been met, and after the re-registration
period for returning students has ended.
7. Bring your child to the admission test (on scheduled date).
8. Wait for notification that your child has been ACCEPTED FOR ADMISSION.

REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

1. KG – 11 th grade students pay $250.00 Resource Fee.
2. Complete the registration and financial agreement forms.

3. Return CHDP health certificate (Kindergarten & 1 st Grade Students only).
4. Tdap Immunization Record (Entering Grade 7 only).
